Summer is over and I have returned to Penn State after seven of the greatest months of my life in Orlando. Now it’s back to business as usual, with a few changes.
On Thursday I attended the introduction classes for the seminars in which I will be taking part this semester. The courses are part of the Disney Exploration Series. One explores marketing and the other explores leadership–both focusing on these topics in terms of how they do it at Walt Disney World.
Last week I got to attend the first panel of this semester’s College Program Alumni Speaker Series (CPASS). The panel featured seven professionals from the Walt Disney World Company who did the College Program at the beginning of their careers. This panel specifically focused on those who work on events at WDW.
Wow. I can honestly say that this last month has been the most exciting of my life. Beginning with the moment Mickey Mouse gave me a Disney Cast Member name tag with my name on it, I have been in awe for weeks. I live and work at Walt Disney World.
